Good news comes from SmartQ’s, that is enough make glad there progress to latest PMP, now SmartQ has announced a new TAO PMP with a screen size 3.3-inches 480×320 HVGA and 720×480 Xvid and DivX Avi resolution with RMVB for 262,000 colors that magnificent.

It mean good enough lineup of multi-codec niceties like MP3, OGG, WMA, FLAC, APE, AAC, WAV (PCM, ADPCM), working on a 500mhz Blackfin processor. There also formats to support FLV, WMV, ASF, 3GP, MPEG, DAT, MP4. The new TAO PMP is available in China and a 4GB costs only about $10
