Progress in Electronic gadgets for “Electronic Nose” chemical sensor

Posted on 01 Nov 2008 at 12:20pm

Another day in here’s have the Electronic Gadgets like Eco-friendly, today is seen again the technology progress at applied in other electronic gadgets.

Technology development has helped researchers apply that in electronic gadgets for detect the chemicals passes nostril. The “Electronic Nose” is a chemical sensor mimic olfactory system at animals, some researchers at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) looks quite a bit going for benefit to human life.

The official NIST site writes that :

The great advantage of this system, according to NIST researchers Barani Raman and Steve Semancik, is that you don’t need to expose the array to every chemical it could come in contact with in order to recognize and/or classify them. Breaking the identification process down into simple, small, discrete steps using the most information rich data also avoids ‘noisy’ portions of the sensor response, thereby incorporating robustness against the effects of sensor drift or aging.

We think during technology progress when applied in electronic gadgets that doesn’t evoke dangerous effect, and hope it will gets out from the lab, researchers aren’t making any promises.
