AMD launches first 45nm quad-core Shanghai Opterons

AMD announced company has launch the Shanghai Opteron, it’s finally the first AMD 45-nm technology of new Opteron server chip with the code-name “Shanghai”.

The new AMD’s quad-core Opteron server chip with 6MB L3 cache, now better performance, AMD’s offered up to 35 percent and compatible with previous generation of Barcelona AMD quad-core processor. AMD’s quad-core Opteron, Shanghai, available immediately in 75-watt, quad-core versions running clock speeds from 2.3GHz to 2.7GHz.

Dell launched The XPS 430 Desktop with 6GB RAM

There is no certainty from Dell’s about plan to take out the music player, apparently Dell silently has launched XPS 430 Desktop PC’s it’s mid-range media desktop well.

Actually the XPS 430 model is same with the XPS 420 model pushes it past 4GB of RAM, but now update to 6GB of DDR3 RAM with features a newer slate of Intel Core 2 Quad processors running on a 1,333MHz system bus with 256MB ATI Radeon HD 3450 video graphics.

The XPS 430 model has a 2.33GHz Core 2 Quad and starting price $1,307, while the second is a faster 2.5GHz Core 2 Quad and a 750GB HDD, and comes bundled with a 22-inch SP2208WFP display, will available in the market with price of $1,767. Dell’s all ready to start shipping on this November.
