Acer PC vendor is the third biggest at world, Aspire one team shipped 6 million unit Aspire One netbooks in this year and they will plans to launch the 10-inch Acer mini laptop in February or March next year.
We have quoted this news from DigiTimes that writes about according Scott Lin the Acer Taiwan’s president said:
As for its 8.9-inch netbooks currently available, the 3.5G module-based Aspire One netbooks being bundled with Taiwan Mobile (TWM) services is expected to reach a shipment volume of 9,000 units in the Taiwan market in the fourth quarter this year and Acer currently sells 10,000-20,000 Aspire Ones and 7,000-8,000 consumer notebooks monthly in Taiwan.
Besides that, the company will plans and launch Acer mini laptop12.1-inch, 13.3-inch, and 15.6-inch LED-backlit laptops in 2009 but the company will launch to sell a 14.1-inch LED-based notebook only for Acer Taiwan promotion in this year.
