The Hottest HDTV for 2009, Panasonic’s ultrathin TC-P54Z1 VIERA plasma priced

Posted on 07 Mar 2009 at 5:41am

What is your preference in choosing a plasma HDTV? Is it about the size, the thickness, or maybe the price? In this economy, most of us will pick the one with friendly price to our budget. And this should be the main preference in determining which HDTV that will be the hottest of the year. But when the Gary Merson, the HD Guru states the early price of Panasonic’s TC-P54Z1 which will be about $6,000, we don’t think that the statement is accurate.

It is true that this TC-P54Z1 VIERA plasma has so many features and specification that will support it’s availability to deliver high quality picture, but it is because of the thickness that make it potentially become the hottest HDTV for 2009. let see, not all of us mount the HDTV on our wall, we usually put it on the TV stand, which is why, the thing we will care about is the size of the base and the overall size of the TV.

Compare it with the same 54-Inch HDTV TC-P5410 which is twice thicker than the “Z1”, but it will cost $2,699 with a lot of nice features. Don’t you think it is worth a second and even first look? So, it is up to you which one to choose, no matter if it few inches thicker, you will not carry it anywhere you go, right?
