Posted on 18 Mar 2009 at 9:41am

A real action on pollute-less transportation innovation is about to begin in America. Due to the high pressure on the need of energy saving cars, EVI (Electric Vehicle International) will release its EV/HEV class 3-6 commercial vehicle. This leading manufacturer for commercial vehicle will demonstrate this first ever “Road Ready” vehicle in public on this year’s Mid-America Trucking Show.

This vehicle is an answer to the request of more electric car on street. EVI claims that this vehicle can help to electrify the American truck fleet. It is already pass the incentive requirements from federal to state. The new American government even has given bigger financial incentive to help the development of eco friendly cars. It can help the electric vehicle manufacturer, like EVI, to sell their cars in lower price. It means the new EV/HEV class 3-6 can be released in lower price and attract the truck fleet owners to change their trucks to this electric truck.

This electric truck comes in 2 different designs, the eviLight truck and eviRoute 1500. Both trucks are assembled in the US. It also has passed all the conformity requirements. With this American first electric truck, we can be sure to find more cars that are electric and reduce the air pollution.
