Recently, Acer, a Taiwan based international computer company is reported as about to release a new model of Aspire One Acer mini laptop and we see it still belong in Small laptops category. Previously, this computer company has released another variant of the original Aspire One Acer mini laptop which has just 10.0 inch of the display screen and which has only few changes of the technical features. The one that is about to release will have bigger display screen that is 11.6 inch and this becomes the most distinctive feature from the previous one.
The Aspire One 11.6 inch Acer mini laptop will have similar design with the previous one including the placement of VGA and RJ45 ports which are considered unusual. This Acer mini laptop has 1,366 x 768 resolutions. This will give users opportunity to see the display bigger and clearer. Unlike all previous models of Aspire One, this new model will be powered by Intel Atom Z530 and Intel SCH USW15S chipset which is known as Poulsbo. The graphic core for this laptop is GMA500. This Acer mini laptop integrates Intel HD audio into its chipset. There is significant changes in the power consumption causing this laptop is more energy saving. There is also extended battery that can extend the life of this laptop from 4 hours into 8 hours.
