Sony to Launch New OLED Walkman on April 25th in Japan0 comments

Sony Corp will launch a new audio player called “Walkman” on April 25th, in two colors black and red, at price of approximately five million yen for 32GB model and  4 million yen for 16GB model. Both models will be used OLED-equipped NWZ-X1000 and NWZ-X1050 series Walkman.

This new audio player has one-segment TV/FM tuner, video playback, wireless LAN and even has a Web browser, Web content and playback, a podcast to download, with access to enhanced content. It has an operating system that combines a touch panel button and body capacitance expression.

Besides, this player is equipped with a music management software the “Sonic Stage V” and a device for transfering music, and applies a new technology that is capable to optimize the headphones. It has low distortion and can play the original sound. Moreover, it can be used for playing a video, music and for browsing a web and sending an e-mail.
