Cyber Criminals Have Attacked the Social Networking Websites

There are many Social Networking Website have experienced some serious cyber crime. There are some cyber criminals have attacked some popular social networking website such as Twitty, Facebook, MySpace and many other. Most of those cyber criminals have stolen the users’ personal information posted in those social networking websites. Such personal information may include name, home address, phone numbers, job details and other valuable information.

Asier Martinez a a security expert that works for Panda security have mentioned that the koobface have made to infect millions of Twitter and Facebook user since 2008. The name Koob itself is the reverse of Book and this virus have developed significantly which today this type of virus can be identified in 4000 different variants. The virus works by hijacking the user’s account in Twitter or Facebook or other social networking sites. It also will invite friends to visit certain website that contains malware software programs.

in another version of Koobface the victim will be given a warning or notification that the PC or laptops need to update or download a new version of Flash Player and when the victims follow the direction they might get the possibility to download a virus instead of real a Flash player program.

The global crisis market somehow still haunted the whole business sectors. Today, anywhere people still feels some bad condition that was caused by the global crisis effects. Somehow, the worldwide mobile phone market remained weak in the second quarter despite some encouraging signs in smart phone shipments. Somehow, the mobile phone shipments fell 10.8 percent year on year in the second quarter to 269 million units.

Some researcher of the IDC said that nothing the figure was an improvement over the first quarter. The mobile handset market has been tough on companies but good for consumers. The Apple price cut on iPhone 3G reflects a trend that would continue in the upcoming quarters. Somehow, Nokia remains the top of the mobile phone vendor in the world with the shipments of 103.2 million handsets. Samsung electronics takes the second place.

Motorola shipments fell 47 percent year on year to 14.8 million units. In the fifth place the Sony Ericsson was the only company among the top five that fail to increase the handset shipments in the second quarter over the first quarter shipped 13.8 million mobile phones in the second quarter, down 43.4 percent year on year and lower than the 14.5 million handsets it shipped on the first quarter. Well, this is the good time for consumers while the vendors are competing to survive.
