
Since last year Michael Arrington has full worked to build a project he mentioned “CrunchPad” which purposed will be very simple, that is, surfing on the internet Web browser device for reading, checking e-mail or watching video. Actually they will announce about the CrunchPad tablet in this month, but Arrington no ready to talk about a timeframe for the release of his self-proclaimed science project world’s first tablet PCs.
Michael Arrington team has development work in Singapore, the project started a year ago and when Mr. Arrington wrote a post asking for help from readers to build up a “dead simple Web tablet.” Since then, it has been referred to internally as “Mike’s science project,” and he said he has been expenditure two-thirds of his time in excess of the last six months working on it.
In the end of July we hears, according to Singapore newspaper The Straits Times, that developer Fusion Garage is aiming to get the device out to the masses by November of this year, just in time for Christmas event, when people think to contacting some family, brother, friends to get suggest approximately what they want before meet and giving present, and that done via email then go to shopping online or they go to one of electronic stores.
The CrunchPad tablet reportedly about 12-inch screen and 2.64 pounds, has a 1.6GH Intel Atom and 1GB RAM, built-in WiFi and 3G connectivity, also include USB port for keyboard or mouse and a port for mobile broadband.
There is no officially price but the estimate it will cost less than US$300 but some internet Web report the price is estimated around $400 as we hopefully it comes out a little touchscreen tabled PCs when this thing goes official by used the American technology.
