That wealth in Windows XP Mode won’t work on any Sony VAIO laptop computers model.
While Sony VAIO laptop computers owners out there hoping to use Windows 7’s XP mode or run any other hardcore virtual machine applications, but Senior Manager Product Marketing of Sony Xavier Lauwaert officially said that “We have received very little if any requests to enable VT technology up until very recently. In addition, our engineers and QA people were very concerned that enabling VT would expose our systems to malicious code that could go very deep in the Operating System structure of the PC and completely disable the latter.”
Hardware virtualization is one of the requirements for Windows XP virtual mode that is available in Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate and Enterprise. Sony VAIO laptop computers that are sold have disabled in the BIOS feature so, Windows XP virtual mode will impossible, although company will enable on new line models.
This news makes the majority Sony VAIO users disappointing however is that all current Sony VAIO laptop computers, but still Sony will enable on past or existing models, maybe for new Sony laptop computers the next generation model. We’ll see what Sony means to going forward. Even though pretty but now is being lame, consequence Sony to be intentionally disabling hardware features.
