NEC’s MultiSync and DisplayPort in EA231WMi LCD Monitor

NEC Display Solutions of America, muscular steps confirm commercial LCD monitor announced a 23-inch desktop display with the launch of the MultiSync and DisplayPort technology in EA231WMi model with a three-step ambient light sensor for automatically adjusting brightness, VGA and DVI connectivity.

The EA231WMi be in the right place high-end enterprise monitor series added 4-way ergonomic stand, two-step ECO mode for noteworthy power consumption savings, four-port USB 2.0 hub, built-in carry handle, down-firing speakers, a headphone socket, native 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, 270 nits of brightness, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio.

NEC Announces Super-Resolution ASSP

NEC Electronics will introduce a super-resolution application-specific standard product (ASSP) called the µPD9280GM that can reduce blurring that takes place when low-resolution images and video are expanded and displayed in 1920 x 1080-pixel HD monitors.

Using on the company’s single-frame super-resolution technology, the ASSP achieves crisp images in HD TV broadcasts by boosting 720 x 480-pixel standard definition (SD) image data. Besides, the technology is capable also of supporting one billion colors (30-bits color depths), which enhances color vividness and accuracy of display.

The ASSP extends its color quality from 24-bit color supporting 8 bits per component of red, green, and blue (RGB) color, to 30-bit color. While 24-bit color is only capable of displaying 15 million colors, 30-bit color can display one billion possible colors with smooth color gradation.

The device is intended for applications in which data and memories previously recorded with only low-resolution technology, from security camera and automotive backup camera to medical endoscope. Samples of the µPD9280GM super-resolution ASSP are available, and mass production is scheduled to begin in July 2009.

The First USB 3.0 Host Controller Will Come Soon

The first USB 3.0 host controller in the world will be released by the manufacturer, NEC Electronics Corp, which is planning to begin sample shipments in the beginning of June 2009 and start volume production at one million units per month in September 2009.

NEC Electronics has begun detailed negotiations with PC manufacturers throughout the world, and the company forecast that a PC equipped with USB 3.0 ports will come out by the end of 2009 at the soonest.

The company expects USB 3.0 to feature in PCs by year 2009 and spread in earnest in and after 2010. USB 3.0-compatible PCs will account for about 30% of PCs in 2011 and 80% of PCs in 2012, the company forecast.

The number of PCs that support USB 3.0 will reach approximately 140 million units in 2011 and 340 million units in 2012, the company said. Besides, the company believes that USB 3.0 host controllers will be available in chipsets as well as standalone host controllers in 2011.

Before the release, the company has prepared the ?PD720200-related exhibitions and demonstrations at the SuperSpeed USB Developers Conference which is being held in Tokyo on May 20 and 21, 2009.

The technology the company uses can enhance the quality of images from QVGA resolution become WVGA resolution. Then, this technology can also improve the high definition of television broadcast in to 1080p. The samples for this product are available for $30 each and $10 each for more than 1,000 pieces. NEC Presents all-in-ones PowerMate P4000 and P6000

The world knows that NEC is the Japan’s Laptop computers brand that famous since long time ago, today NEC Asia Pacific presentses two new all-in-ones PowerMate P4000 and P6000 line up with choose target to the family.

The new all-in-ones NEC PowerMate P4000 and P6000 coming with a good design and suitable it called the sexy all-in-ones PowerMate, well, let us seeing more about the specs: The P4000 is a powered by 1.9GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 processor, 1GB of RAM, 250GB of space on hard disk drive, an NVIDIA GeForce 9100M G integrated video graphics chip, and a 16-inch display at 1366 x 768, runs on Windows Vista Home Premium Edition. The P4000 it’s doesn’t disgrace and bad for working light until intermediate, the estimate price is starting offered $1.270.
